J&H began operation as an equipment manufacturer in 1975, manufacturing a full line of process and material handling equipment for the chemical fertilizer industry.

As the market changed over the years, J&H designed and developed equipment to meet the demand. Process equipment such as large rotary dryers and coolers, conveying systems, screening and sizing machinery, samplers, and feed and flow control devices.

The conveying equipment development included many sizes and types, from very small bucket elevators and belt conveyors to very large machines, that are used in ship loading and high capacity and mineral processing.

Throughout this period of time, the J&H Mod III Screen Machine has become the screen of choice around the world for fine dry screening and consequently has become the focus for our machinery design. The development of a complete screening "loop" was the logical evolution of our manufacturing initiative.

As plant production rates grew, individual machines were redesigned and improved. Particular emphasis was placed on durability, ease of service availability of parts, and ability to up-date as new technology was developed. Equipment in the screening loop followed the development of the screening machine to maintain the high integrity of the system.
