The belt is used, instead of a drag conveyor, to add the greatest capacity with the least amount of power required. A belt is always an end discharge conveyor that does not require intermediate mechanical discharge gates, which are subject to wear and maintenance.
The discharge chute assembly is permanently fastened to the belt head and discharge carriage.
Floating idlers move with belt head carriage to give the proper support on the belt carrying and return surface.
The unique belt take-up assembly permits long extension of the belt with full radial mobility and a minimum amount of dock space. Vertical mobility of the belt can be 45° or more. Dust control is performed in a conventional manner.
These units are available as complete assemblies or as retrofit kits for your existing drag flight loader.
