Introducing automated flow control to the vibrating screen feeder.

J&H has integrated the benefits of its electromechanical modulating control valve with its static body vibrating pan feeder.  1st generation screen feeders required manual deflectors located at the inlet to adjust feed flow to optimize distribution.  This combination now offers the ability to control material flow locally or remotely via an electric actuated bucket valve, enhancing the feeders capability to equally disperse material across full width of screening machine, improving efficiency.

The modulating flow control valve is ideal for plants with restrictive feed chute geometry and/or inadequate vertical chute height.

The J&H Lump Breaker is a compact machine designed with short, hardened tool steel teeth mounted on a rotating drum passing through an AR comb system.  The rotor is driven by a shaft mount speed reducer in conjunction with Mill & Chem motors ranging in power from 10 to 50hp, depending on breaker capacity.

Its purpose is to break lumps up to 400 mm in diameter down to 25 mm or less in order to prepare material for conveying or screening while using a minimal amount of power.  Its capacity can go up to 800 tph for a single rotor or 1500 tph for dual rotor units.

The J&H Riffle Vibrating Screening Machine is optimal for high tonnage applications with space limitations. The riffle screen is designed to increase screening area without enlarging the required equipment footprint. Feed material is distributed and split equally to each deck, effective doubling screening capacity. To view the animation in its entirety click the following YouTube link or the image below.

J&H offers a full range of screen support structures for all types of J&H Screens. The structure is designed to fully support the weight of the screen, hopper, and feeder while providing necessary access at all inspection and maintenance points.

Support structures packages include all structural members, stair treads, grating, and handrails, and safety gates/ladders in accordance with OSHA/MSHA standards. Load information is provided for civil purposes.

J&H structures can accommodate single or multiple consecutive screen banks, customizable to meet specific needs. Although support structures are designed to free standing, they can be modified to tie into existing plant structures and work around existing constraints and obstacles.

J&H’s in-house engineering team is ready to provide solutions to meet your needs.

The J&H Automatic Product Sampler is designed to enable users to test the quality of dry bulk product by taking a sample from a falling stream of material. The J&H Automatic Sampler collects sample material in a cup that rotates through the falling stream of material. The sample is then discharged into a container and the cup returns to its original, shielded position until the next sample is initiated.

The J&H Samplers are compact, efficient, and dependable boasting a proven drive system with no critical components exposed to material. All Samplers are made to order and are available in multiple sizes and materials of construction in order to fit the requirements of your plant layout, chute size and orientation, and type of product material. The Sampler features a large removeable top panel which allows for quick and easy maintenance

Sample frequency and quantity are adjustable to fit specific sampling needs and sample intervals can be set to any point between 2 and 30 minutes. Production is not interrupted during sampling process.

The J&H HD Dual Rotor Chain Mill utilizes rotors equipped with hardened chain flails rotating in opposite direction. Material is fed into the mill where it is separated and directed into the optimal crushing zones of each high speed rotor. Material is impacted by the chains and redirected into the path of the opposition rotor, generating a unique crushing efficiency.

J&H HD Chain Mills are designed with a cantilever-mounted “floating rotor” which reduces vibration transmission to a negligible amount. This design feature allows the machine to be installed directly onto a concrete or steel floor without the addition of costly structural considerations or isolation pads. The chain mills feature large front access doors and side-hung access doors that provide unparalleled quick access for inspection and maintenance.

Robust, solid welded chain mill frames are equipped with impact zone rubber pads that are designed for longevity and ease of maintenance. Rotor chains can be easily inspected or replaced without disassembly of additional parts of the chain mill. Zero speed switch and safety switches are available as required.
