The J&H Multiport Rotary valve is the latest line of specialty valve designed to meet the needs of the material processing industries. The Multiport Rotary Valve uses a rotary mounted internal chute to direct dry granular product material from one feed inlet chute into one of several discharges arranged around the valve. J&H has multiport rotary valves for four to six discharges. All of these valves will operate exactly the same way, with the only difference being the number and position of the discharges programmed into the actuator controller.

J&H Multiport Rotary valves are designed for ease of operation and reliability. Electronic controller monitors the position and sends out digital and analog signals that can be observed from the control room. The robust design provides reliable service for years with minimum maintenance required. Built with a body of carbon steel, the valves are coated with a durable, industrial powder coat. Internal chutes are made of carbon or stainless steel. Feed and discharge port flanges designed to match customer chute work. All J&H diverters are built with large access doors to allow for easy access to the internal components and are designed for simplicity and ease of use.

The J&H Riffle Vibrating Screening Machine is optimal for high tonnage applications with space limitations. The riffle screen is designed to increase screening area without enlarging the required equipment footprint. Feed material is distributed and split equally to each deck, effective doubling screening capacity. To view the animation in its entirety click the following YouTube link or the image below.

The J&H HD Dual Rotor Chain Mill utilizes rotors equipped with hardened chain flails rotating in opposite direction. Material is fed into the mill where it is separated and directed into the optimal crushing zones of each high speed rotor. Material is impacted by the chains and redirected into the path of the opposition rotor, generating a unique crushing efficiency.

J&H HD Chain Mills are designed with a cantilever-mounted “floating rotor” which reduces vibration transmission to a negligible amount. This design feature allows the machine to be installed directly onto a concrete or steel floor without the addition of costly structural considerations or isolation pads. The chain mills feature large front access doors and side-hung access doors that provide unparalleled quick access for inspection and maintenance.

Robust, solid welded chain mill frames are equipped with impact zone rubber pads that are designed for longevity and ease of maintenance. Rotor chains can be easily inspected or replaced without disassembly of additional parts of the chain mill. Zero speed switch and access door proximity switches are available as options.

The J&H 6-Way Modulating Material Splitter is designed to divide a singular stream of input material in six equal output streams. Internal gates are maneuvered by electromechanical actuators with 0-100% of travel span modulating capability.

J&H Splitters are also designed to include flow shut-off capability of any one outlet chute for downstream equipment maintenance, product redirection, etc. and are ideal for elevator or conveyor discharge applications requiring multiple splits or distributions of materials.

The J&H Material Stream Splitters are customizable in size/geometry as well as the number of outlets required (two, three, four, five, six, or more.)

The J&H Double Deck Vibrating Screen is a static body, vibrating wire mesh screening machine designed for multiple size separations of material. The J&H Double Deck Screen achieves high screening efficiency with low power consumption and minimal maintenance. This screen is ideal for primary, product, polishing, and scalping applications of aggregates. To view the animation in its entirety click the following YouTube link or the image below.

Introducing automated flow control to the vibrating screen feeder.

J&H has integrated the benefits of its electromechanical modulating control valve with its static body vibrating pan feeder.  1st generation screen feeders required manual deflectors located at the inlet to adjust feed flow to optimize distribution.  This combination now offers the ability to control material flow locally or remotely via an electric actuated bucket valve, enhancing the feeders capability to equally disperse material across full width of screening machine, improving efficiency.

The modulating flow control valve is ideal for plants with restrictive feed chute geometry and/or inadequate vertical chute height.

The J&H Lump Breaker is a compact machine designed with short, hardened tool steel teeth mounted on a rotating drum passing through an AR comb system.  The rotor is driven by a shaft mount speed reducer in conjunction with Mill & Chem motors ranging in power from 10 to 50hp, depending on breaker capacity.

Its purpose is to break lumps up to 400 mm in diameter down to 25 mm or less in order to prepare material for conveying or screening while using a minimal amount of power.  Its capacity can go up to 800 tph for a single rotor or 1500 tph for dual rotor units.

J&H offers a full range of screen support structures for all types of J&H Screens. The structure is designed to fully support the weight of the screen, hopper, and feeder while providing necessary access at all inspection and maintenance points.

Support structures packages include all structural members, stair treads, grating, and handrails, and safety gates/ladders in accordance with OSHA/MSHA standards. Load information is provided for civil purposes.

J&H structures can accommodate single or multiple consecutive screen banks, customizable to meet specific needs. Although support structures are designed to free standing, they can be modified to tie into existing plant structures and work around existing constraints and obstacles.

J&H’s in-house engineering team is ready to provide solutions to meet your needs.

The J&H Static Body Side‐feed (SBS) Feeder is a machine designed to increase the efficiency of a screening machine by distributing the gravity fed flow of material across the width of the screen’s wire cloth. The pan is designed to regulate the incoming flow of material by absorbing the momentum of high velocity material or fluidizing slow moving material. The vibrating distributor pan is isolated from the body of the feeder by rubber buffers, which means that the body of the feeder is static and can be rigidly connected to the screen feed inlet and to feed chutes upstream of the feeder. Because the body of the feeder is static and the vibrating components are nowhere directly connected to the plant, there is minimum transmission of the vibration.

All J&H Vibrating feeders come in sizes that correspond to the width of the screen machine such that the feeder discharge flange matches the inlet flange for the screen it is feeding. The feeder is equipped with both side and top doors for quick access and simple inspections. This Feeder allows control of the product flow and the shape and slope of the distributor pan will result in distribution of the product material onto the screen below.
